This guitar is from a series of guitars to commemorate the achievements of Masao Hoshino who was instrumental in rebuilding the Ibanez guitar facilities after WWII and president of the Ibanez Guitar Company from 1981 to 1984. Other than that, it's a very nice guitar with the right looks and with an unusual configuration for a semi-accoustic: it has an 'electric' neck pickup and a piezo pickup.
