We had seen specimens from the nest of the DS91 before with a different headstock and in a different color, but they were just too much of the same to buy (if the guitar budget is already running out - otherwise not of course; -). This DS92 also looks quite similar but is subtly different. The color is of course different, but the drawing in the wood is also very different, almost a quilt opposite the tiger stripe of the DS91. The 92 is also almost flat while the 91 has a light arch. Finally, the 92 has SSH instead of the HSH of the 91 and they are also mounted at an angle. But otherwise the outline of the shape is the same and so are the inlays in the fretboard. And he also plays nicely.
This is the first guitar we picked up in Germany ourselves; the first one we pick up abroad anyway. The seller appears to have had a bad experience with sending things so we have to go that way. Fortunately, he lives a twenty minute drive past Ibbenbüren, so that is not bad at all. And he is a friendly man too because we get the three guitar stand and the shoulder strap. However, a shoulder strap made of elastic is very inconvenient, so the question is how it could have been used. That he wants to get rid of it makes all the more sense.
