We are not familiar with the Melody brand, but when we encounter this blue-green strat on the marketplace, interest is immediately aroused. On closer inspection it appears to have been really blue in the past, but due to discoloration, the front has now turned a bit greenish - which is not bad at all. It is a simple strat without a pickguard and actually one with the connection at the front; also something we don't have yet. But it has a nice binding and an unpainted blank maple fretboard, which still looks very good despite its age. In fact, everything about this strat still looks good: the paint, the neck, the head, the frets. Apparently it has always been well taken care of by its previous owner (or owners) because the guitar is at least from 1988 and possibly older. Melody turns out to be an Italian brand that also manufactured guitars for Eko, but stopped in 1988. And for 26 years this guitar still looks fine.
