EKS Cyclone

The Cyclone! How many times had we seen it hanging at the Used Products in Zwolle? Maybe three times, and still let it hang every time. Not surprising really, because it is nothing special: plain black, damaged and one of the mini-switches was broken. But still there was something that drew us ... made in Japan, the imitation Jackson headstock and the possibility to make something of this discarded guitar. So on the very last day of the year, the Cyclone gets another chance with us. We pick up new mini switches, sandpaper, primer, red metallic paint and clear paint and we get to work! Actually it is too cold to use those aerosols outside but once you have something like that in your head ...

And once it is out of your mind, it looks like this. Quite satisfied.
